a note about donation types

IRS regulations for 501(c)3 nonprofits require that no one person can benefit by any act of the the corporation.

What this means is that any fundraisers that are run for a particular person, are not tax deductible to the donor, and become viewed as income to the recipient.

Therefore, it is strongly suggested that any fundraisers that are run be paid to CrittersWork Service Dog Partners as general donation amounts.

All other donations to CrittersWork remain tax deductible, including donations supporting children and veterans (unnamed donations), our building fund, naming opportunities, administrative expenses, veterinary care, dog supplies, and donations that are not specifically designated.

If you have any questions about if your donation will be tax deductible, please contact us directly at 423-552-1416
General Donation
Making Our Veterans Priority
Veterans are a priority at CrittersWork, and we need your help to support our programs.
Building Fund
CrittersWork is developing a couple of very important projects.  Our Confidence Field, and a shed to store our equipment in.
Administrative Expenses
CrittersWork has been unable to procure any grant money this year, and we develop our dogs for free to the recipient.  This leaves us very short handed because we can't pay our people.  Please help us change this.
Veterinary Expenses
All of the dogs in our program require vetting and we really need help with this.  The specific donations on this page are earmarked for the item the donor is funding for us.
Dog Toys
Dog Toys?  Who doesn't need dog toys?  Some of our service dogs in training are pretty rough on the toys, and we are in constant need of replacements...
Dog Supplies
Supplies include beds, bedding, food, collars, leashes, and capes.
