Our Service Dog Confidence Field Project
Only one of its kind in Tennessee!
2019 / 2020 Project
To Help Us,
423-299-6090

Training dogs for service, be it mobility, emotional, medical, alert, search & rescue, tracking, protection, whatever is necessary to the dog handler team is an enormous undertaking, with a responsibility to get it right.
One unfortunate interaction with an untrained dog in a public place can cause a setback, or even end the career of these fabulous dogs.
We believe that the above working dogs need a place to interact with other highly skilled dogs, their handlers and trainers where it is safe to be off leash.
In that vein, we are working hard to establish a confidence field where these dogs and their handlers can come to exercise, play, and train in a safe environment.
Starting with Giving Thursday 2018, we embarked  on a very important project, developing and building our new Service Dog Confidence Field.
The project will be completed in stages to become an enormous field/park with pavilion, ability courses, nature trails, and learning areas, focused on creating a safe outdoor space to strengthen the handlers bond, control, and communication with their service dogs.
Our field will always be staffed with experienced trainers while teams are present, assisting, teaching and introducing new skills in each team.
The first phase of this project has a cost estimate of $30,000, and that is what our current fundraising campaign is focusing on.

Please help us make this unique experience a reality for otherwise enabled people and their partners.

Photos of our progress will be posted below as we scale this enormous task.
Thank you,
