CrittersWork's new Career & Education team is charged with developing and implementing central components of CSDP's strategy in 2013 and beyond. The team will design a comprehensive educational strategy for CSDP to deliver via our online mechanisms and will launch our signature initiative for 2013: The goal of Career & Education is to empower future leaders to use their careers to have a positive social and environmental impact; we believe this initiative has the potential to transform the way students and young job seekers approach their careers, ensuring that tomorrow's leaders can bring their values to work so all can benefit.

Job Description:
CrittersWork's new Career & Education team is charged with developing and implementing central components of CSDP's strategy in 2013 and beyond. The team will design a comprehensive educational strategy for CSDP to deliver via our online mechanisms and will launch our signature initiative for 2013: The goal of Career & Education is to empower future leaders to use their careers to have a positive social and environmental impact; we believe this initiative has the potential to transform the way students and young job seekers approach their careers, ensuring that tomorrow's leaders can bring their values to work so all can benefit.
- Manage session development process, including helping internal and external session organizers stay on track with key deliverable s (speaker invitations, session descriptions, etc.)
- Research and identify speakers at the keynote, featured speaker, and session level.
- Lead keynote and other high-level speaker requests, interacting with Board and VIPs; ensure experience is smooth and enjoyable, from invitation to confirmation to conference participation
- In collaboration with organizational leadership, determine how to align CSDP's other educational offerings with the conference content, developing a year-round, inspiring educational delivery strategy for CSDP constituents.
- Work with CSDP's strategic partners to create educational content for 2013 Career & Education.
- Play a key role in the definition and evolution of CSDP's Career & Education team.
Qualifications:
- BA or BS degree and a minimum of 2-3 years professional experience
- Experience building and managing strong relationships with external partners and contributors
- Outstanding organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and experience developing and maintaining systems/processes
- Flexibility and comfort with managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented, dynamic environment
- Experience developing program content and leading successful program implementation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently; take initiative and risks; and approach problems creatively
- Knowledge of and interest in issues related to social impact
- Computer proficiency, particularly with MS PowerPoint and Excel
