Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities:
Writes compelling and accurate letters of intent, proposals, reports, correspondence, and stewardship materials.
Works in conjunction with the CEO to maintain and/or progress to the highest quality writing and to ensure that written materials meet CSDP's standards.
Works with colleagues to cultivate, solicit and steward leadership donors, with a focus on institutions. This includes participating in prioritizing and growing CSDP's prospect pool, identifying and researching institutional leadership donors/prospects; and establishing and maintaining relationships.
Compiles, archives and shares with colleagues the latest and most accurate program-related information and statistics in conjunction with colleagues th e latest and most accurate program-related information and statistics in conjunction with the CEO.
Pursues grant opportunities when and where appropriate.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience
Three-to-five years' fundraising or equivalent experience required.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills required; writing sample will be required.
Extraordinary level of attention to detail necessary.
Mission-driven work ethic and an understanding fo the deadline-driven demands of a nonprofit work environment a must.
Self-starter who can work well in a team environment
Familiarity with MSOffice products is essential.
Valid driver's license and MVR that meets CSDP standards required.
