The Executive Assistant to the President is primarily responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day administrative needs of the President are met. The individual must be motivated, assertive, responsible, self-directed individual. This person will help facilitate day-to-day operations and must be comfortable interacting with senior-level professionals. The candidate must have superior organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and sound judgment. S/he must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with highly motivated staff in a rapidly growing mission-focused organization.

Job Description:
The Executive Assistant to the President is primarily responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day administrative needs of the President are met. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide direct support by serving as secretary to the President: manage incoming telephone calls, letters, and e-mail communications.
- Manage the President's calendar, including managing time, tasks and scheduling all appointments and meetings, as well as assisting in meeting preparation as needed.
- Check in with President daily to coordinate tasks and schedules.
- Coordinate and prepare final materials for quarterly Board meetings.
- Execute writing and research assignments, as well as other projects, as directed by the President.
- Handle all travel for the President.
- Provide general administrative support, including photocopying, word-processing, filing (both paper and electronic), and faxing.
- Participate in departmental meetings, as appropriate.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the President or other members of the Executive Affairs team.
- Reports directly to the President.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years experience providing direct support to senior-level management
- Confidentiality is a must.
- Ability to be flexible with range and intensity of assignments
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Outlook, Word, and excel.
- Strong Attention to detail and the ability to establish and follow routine processes and procedures
- Demonstrated interpersonal, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Exercises initiative in undertaking routine assignments/projects without direct supervision.
